6 x 6 front wheel drive conversion

2007 Mack CT713 6 x 6 front wheel drive conversion

A modification at Raydan begins with you, the customer. Requirements are determined and then if necessary, we work directly with the OEMs ensuring the truck will be designed in accordance with the conversion. Once the truck arrives at Raydan, it is reviewed to confirm compliance with the order sheets. During the modification, only factory matched axles and components are used enabling parts accessibility in the future. Once complete, the modification team certifies the conversion meets Raydan’s high quality control parameters.

Raydan’s ability to design solutions which allow entry into applications otherwise unattainable, is second to none. We export innovative, high-quality products to end-users and OEMs in the heavy-duty truck, crane, fire/rescue and severe use sectors around the world.

Tandem Steer Conversions
Sometimes adding a second steer axle is necessary in order to carry oversize loads or more payload. Raydan's knowledgeable staff will help you choose the best suspension for your tandemization, a decision influenced by the application, working environment, geographical location and budget.

We at Raydan are happy to assist you in the initial truck ordering process with incidentals such as axle spread, ride height, tire size and rim offset in order to minimize installation time and smooth the modification process.

The suspension is the most important component of a tandemization, and Raydan offers the best of either air or spring. Both are applicable for C-channel or I-channel frames and are used in industries as varied as concrete pumping, redi-mix, waste collection/compactor, construction, oil field service, military and logging.

Tri-Steer Conversions
Demands for larger payloads throughout the concrete and oilfield industries has driven Raydan’s engineering team to design a 60,000 lb equalizing spring suspension for a tri-steer conversion. This modification is available for both I-beam and C-channel frame rails. Raydan's design boasts increased articulation ensuring shared axle loads, easy serviceability with common components and a tight turning radius.

All Wheel Drive Conversions
The buoyant economy is driving the demand for trucks to service the mining and oilfield off-road sites. Raydan’s 6 x 6 all wheel drive conversion is the perfect solution taking the trucks into places otherwise inaccessible. Since not all makes and models are available with an all wheel drive option at the factory, dealers can modify their existing stock to suit current demands.

When turning the corner with a tandem steer, the front tires can slide, tearing up the jobsite. With Raydan’s 6 x 8 conversion you will not only get better traction in sand, mud or snow, but it will assist in ‘pulling’ you around corners—tightening the turning radius.

Drive Axle Relocation/Frame Extension
Relocation of drive axles may be necessary when upgrading the chassis to match fixed equipment. Providing this modification allows dealers to meet their customers needs.
