Key elements of the role: Repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain heavy duty equipment used in construction, material handling, heavy haul and other applications. Applicants must also check and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, repair or maintain equipment to ensure continued optimal performance. They must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective or worn parts, test repaired equipment to ensure that work meets safety and manufacturer specifications. As well as perform routine maintenance work, supervise, coach and mentor apprentices. Skills, Education and Certification Required: previous related work experience, Truck and Coach Technician; OR Automotive Technician with previous related heavy duty work experience and ability to challenge for Truck and Coach certification, commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. Evening Service Supervisor- Truck and Coach Technician Breslau (Kitchener), Ontario:
Required immediately, for busy, well established spring and repair shop in Breslau. We require a proven leader, with a track record in coaching and motivating a small team of technicians. Key elements of the role: Schedule work and prioritize job orders for a small team; work with Parts department to ensure that shift has required material for evening’s planned repair work; repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain heavy duty equipment used in construction, (cranes,) material handling, and heavy haul. Successful applicants must also check and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, repair or maintain equipment to ensure continued optimal performance; adjust equipment and repair or replace defective or worn parts, test repaired equipment to ensure that work meets safety and manufacturer specifications; perform routine maintenance work and; Supervise, coach and mentor apprentices. Warehouse Labourer Nisku, Alberta:
A chance to get in on the ground floor and learn several areas as back-up to the team leads while you assist with the day-to-day workflow. Required immediately, you will assist in several areas as the work flows, perform QC of incoming weld shop raw materials, (back-up role); perform QC of outgoing manufactured material (back-up role); paint booth and visual inspection (back-up role); assist in shipping and intake of large orders, labeling and packaging kits. You will also be expected to assemble kits, label and store in appropriate storage areas (Forklift use) and alert Production Planner as to status of orders. This is a role with repetitive, sometimes heavy, lifting and which requires you to stand for extended periods of time. Numeracy and ability to follow instructions essential.
